Pattern:A Simple Six-Pocket Bag
The blue fabric is from ConnectingTreads and some black I already had.
The finished dimensions are slightly smaller than the pattern because I used larger seam allowances than the standard 1/4 inch. It's about 13 1/2" by 10".
Technically there are seven pockets, including the main one.
What pretty pictures you take!
ReplyDeleteLooking good! You are making me want to sew too :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Yvette! My husband got me a beautiful camera for my birthday, and Picasa has really, really simplified the process of editing the photos. There's still some work to do (like paying more attention to the edges of the images, not just the object), but I'm getting better.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how quickly sewing projects come together. This was about two and a half hours to make, but it is a total attention thing. I just wish my cutting surface and my sewing/ironing area were on the same floor.
You are so fast!
ReplyDeleteNice stitching on the straps, Meredith.
All you need is a folding table in the craft room...
It's a great looking bag!!! Love it!!
